Rella Coal is an experienced, family owned business since 1979.  We are dedicated to offering economic and efficient heating alternatives to consumers across Long Island. 

As Suffolk County's only full service fuel dealer, we are proud to provide quality premium hardwood pellets and anthracite coal, either delivered or available for pick up at our office, located on Route 112 in Medford.   We also offer a complete line of stoves utilizing pellets, coal or wood to Nassau and Suffolk County consumers.

Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you year round in our showroom, whatever your needs may be, from concept to completion.

Every year at this time, Energex reduces their pellet prices to the lowest price of the year, in the hopes that custimers will be able to take advantage of the savings during the spring and summer months.

This year the price will be $414.00 per ton, giving you a $63 savings from the current price of pellets.  This early buy sale is valid from April 15 to June 30.  The deadline for placing orders is June 7, 2025.  Delivery or pick  up of your pellets must be made by June 30, 2025.  This will ensure that you get the discounted price and are ready for the next heating season.

As a friendy reminder, cleaning and servicing your pellet stove is essential to maintaining its efficiency.  Our calendar fills up quickly towards fall, so we ask that you call the office during the spring and summer to schedule your stove cleaning  Please have the make and model of your pellet stove available to make sure your unit is one we service.
